Kavali woke to a new identity
Kavali was a sleepy town toward the northern end of Nellore district. That changed with Visvodaya — Society Registration No. 9 of 1952 — a charitable trust devoted to enlightenment, social justice, and education that sets the mind free.
Inspired by Santiniketan and Visva-Bharati of Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore, and founded by Dr. Dodla Ramachandra Reddy, the trust put Kavali on the education map of Andhra Pradesh.
